FELT CRAFTING

Ellie received this fun book for Christmas and it is right up her alley.  We found the time over the weekend to pick up some supplies.  Here is the project my little artist has started.
The green background will be sewn up into a pillow.  The bunnies are waiting to get their clothing stitched on and she wants to make a little yellow sun above.

Felt is such a fun and easy project for children (mamas too!)

Very cute! I will have to look for this book. How old is your daughter that's using it? My oldest is almost eight...wondering if this is something she could do on her own.

Ellie, I wish I was there for the sewing project we were going to do this weekend. Airplanes just don't like to fly with so much snow. We had more here again yesterday. You are doing a great job with the sewing and art.

Ashley,
My daughter is 8 so I think it would work for your daughter also. There are some super easy projects, and a few more complicated pieces but most could could be done with just a little help. Besides, the crooked ears and lopsided pieces just add to the homemade charm! The book is Kata Golda's Hand Stitched Felt.
I loved the little felt cookies you made. Thanks for stopping by.
